David also sits on the B-044, Fixing of ceramic, natural and reconstituted stone tiles Committee, along with six other ASAA members, Richard Bowman (Intertile Research), John Moses (Davco Construction Materials), Colin Cass (Sydney Institute of TAFE at Randwick - Wall & Floor Tiling), Fred Gray (Laticrete), Michael Strine (Spirit Marble & Tile Care) and Xiaoyan Sugeng (Ardex Australia).

Richard Bowman, the Chair of the BD/94 Slip Resistance of Flooring Surfaces Committee, also represents ASAA on that committee.
