:: A Gem in Kuala Lumpur's Crowning Glory

PJ Development was voted by Asia Inc. Magazine as one of the fastest growing companies in Asia, in the fields of property development, construction, manufacturing to hospitality based industries.

The PJD headquarters building is the first building of its size to be clad in Australian sandstone and its unsurpassed location in the heart of KL's Golden Triangle makes it one of the "gems in KL's crowning glory" and noted to be the only office building to carry the distinct seven arches and capstone.

Over 60 container loads of Australian Comerford Sandstone were exported to complete this intriguing project.

A massive arched glazed form allows natural light to flood into the double height foyer and lift core area of the tower. The grandeur of both main entrances of seven arches and capstones all in Comerford Sandstone is heightened by water jets, cascades, and pools while pavement lighting is recessed to the curved and arched surfaces and podium lighting emphasises KL's famous twin towers in the background.

Comerford Sandstone worked from conception stage with the team of architects and interior designers to enhance this prestigious building. 600x900 panels were chosen and manually fixed to the external façade, foyer and mezzanine floors while 600x400 tiles were adhesive fixed to 20 floors internally.

Accessories such as counter tops, reception desks, lift façades, and name plates were all part of the total fitout quarried, processed and supplied by Comerford Sandstone.

Comerford Sandstone's processing, well ahead of schedule, showed Australian companies were global players; reliable and dedicated to the export market.

Comerford's supply of this project was noted as a key factor in opening the market doors to Malaysia and surrounding Asian countries for other Australian companies.
