ASAA is working with relevant agencies to ensure that Australian stone meets the stringent requirements demanded by local authorities for specific major projects. Members can also receive a 6 per cent rebate against space booked at the Full Frontal Tile and Stone expo (FFTSE). An additional rebate of 3 % of the value of the total space booked by ASAA members will be added to the $ 3.000 donated annually to ASAA by FFTSE. These funds will be utilized for industry promotion.

ASAA are currently attempting to protect the interests of Australian stone producers by contacting local authorities when it appears that a foreign product has been specified in preference to a superior locally quarried material.

ASAA has arranged with Austrade export missions to Verona, Italy and Xiemen, China, where Australian producers of stone were able to promote their product to international buyers

ASAA is about to commission the testing of several engineered stone products, manufactured in different countries to check their compliance with forthcoming European standards.

ASAA members will be invited to promote their materials on www.infotile.com.au which attracts a huge amount of traffic. Click here to view logs. A new stone portal is being developed on infotile.
